For evidence of the special recreational amenities available, members need look no further than the Par 3 Golf Course. The 12-hole Par 3 Course is unlike any on the Treasure Coast.
Offering a challenge for both scratch players and high-handicappers, the course features up to five different tee placements on each hole. Depending on tee selection, hole distances range from 53 to 212 yards.
The variety of tee placements allows golfers to change the type of shot they need to hit. One tee may bring water or another hazard into play; another tee box to the same green may be relatively free of hazards.
"The course is a definite one of a kind, and is similar in concept to the famous Par 3 course at Augusta National Golf Club and Colleton River Plantation at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina," says Jason McCoy, Vice President of Greg Norman Golf Course Design.
As with The Medalist Course, the Par 3 Course takes full advantage of the massive nature preserve that envelops the larger community, making playing a round of golf here a commune with Mother Nature.
